This is a sunrise photo I took this morning. I really like it. The beauty of itself is beyond description. It reflects God’s mighty and marvelous works. Just lately I take time to be able to witness the sun rises everyday if given a chance. I do accept that there were so many times that I just ignored it. I now really appreciate the beauty and wonders of it. Have a wonderful week every one.

I took pictures of sunrise this week. This photo is a unique one because this is not just about the sunrise but also it is about love. I never thought I captured this love birds while taking sunrise photos. I just noticed them when I was browsing the pictures I had taken. The other photo i had, there was only 1 bird waiting for her lover after few seconds her lover joined with her. The two of them were excited to be witnesses of the marvelous beauty of the sunrise. This is a picture of me and a baby delivered by my best friend and I. She is such a cute baby. It was a home birth. The mother had complications after birth, hemorrhaged but she did great and everything was normal after doing the things we needed to do to stop the bleeding. It is so nice to see babies growing up. Time passes unnoticed sometimes. Have a happy week end everyone.

This is me and the baby I delivered 4 months ago. Isn’t she cute? Oh my goodness! She is so so cute. Look at her spiky hair! =) This baby made my day. I felt delighted in the midst of my busy day. The last time I saw her was when she was still 6 weeks old. I can’t imagine how fast babies grow and how fast time passed. It seems like I just delivered her few weeks ago.

My wordless wednesday entry. This is me with baby Carl Xyron. A son of my cousin who delivered at home. I was her nurse-midwife. God so is great for everything was normal with the birth. No complications or anything. Everything ran smoothly and in perfect timing. Carl was born on 4/24/06 almost 2 y.o now. so handsome and so cute.

This is something different I ever did in my life. It was taken by my best friend 2 years ago. We just had it for fun. My best friend suggested that I should pause like a man peeing. I agreed. I thought it’s so fun to do that pause, something different not just smiling and looking at the camera for a picture. We really had a lot of fun. I can’t imagine though myself peeing like a man. Can you?

Today, since didn’t have patients, I have a chance to talk with my friend who is also working with me. She was sharing with me about how she struggles spiritually. She is struggling about her faith to God. She said that sometimes she doubted God if He really existed. I told her that everyone of us went through times like that. The wonderful thing about it as christian,  the holy spirit with in us keeps on reminding that God is true and he is alive. It is the enemy who put those questions in our mind so we become doubtful. This struggle is hard but it refines us and it makes our faith to God stronger. Like gold it went through a lot of hard process or heating and refining to make a fine gold. The great and marvelous thing with this spiritual battle is that God has already won it by his blood. God said that we have faith even like a mustard, it can move mountains. We need to be reminded that nothing can separate us from the love of God. We bought with a price.

Yesterday I was on prenatal check-up. We were 57 patients. There were 5 of us working. I think I did like may be 20 out of the 57. Not to boast myself but I always do more prenatal checks than my co-midwives. I think I can do more without them interrupting me all the questions they have for their patients. It is always fun doing check up on pregnant women. It always makes me so happy to feel the baby inside the womb moving. Pregnancy is one of the most amazing phenomenon can happen. It really shows how powerful God is. Sometimes I can’t fathom how the baby grows inside and be delivered in a specific or right time. Preggy moms will not carry babies in their wombs forever. Most of the time it made me feel somewhat exhausted after duty. But hey are worth the hard work though.

Today I work day shift. There was no patient being endorsed to us. It was not a perfect day for me because I had an allergies. My nose was runny and I got teary-eyed. So I took some anti-allergy drugs. It made me so drowsy and sleepy. I was so glad that I was able to sleep for an hour. We were so board cause nothing kept us busy. Then finally, 30 minutes before endorsement time a labor came in. It is her 5th baby. She came in active labor and was check, she was already 8cm when she came 2 cm more to go then she will be pushing her baby. At exactly 2pm, her BOW or water ruptured then she pushed twice then baby’s head was already visible. After 5 minutes baby was out! First baby boy in the family!! The baby is named after her Father, Joseph Jr. Every one was happy.
